Hi, I’m Katie!
A bit about me.
I’m a UX designer with a background in Wildlife Conservation and Animal Management. My journey started with studying animal behaviour, but somewhere along the line, I found myself just as fascinated by humans. That curiosity led me to UX, where I now design thoughtful, accessible experiences that genuinely connect with the people they’re made for.
For me, design is more than what’s on a screen. It’s about listening, understanding, and creating with purpose. That’s why I actively get involved in the communities I work with - whether it’s through local meetups or fundraising for Parkinson’s support. The more I immerse myself, the better I design.
Outside of work, I love spending time outdoors - whether it’s a walk in the park or exploring new spots in the city. When I’m not outside, you’ll probably find me relaxing with my PlayStation, diving into a great game. For me, it’s all about finding balance and appreciating the small moments.
When I’m not working you will find me…
Thrill seeking…
I’m all about pushing limits and conquering fears through exhilarating adventures. From rock climbing and skateboarding to skydiving and scuba diving, I’m always chasing the next adrenaline rush. What’s my next thrill? You’ll just have to wait and see!
Walking my dog, Milo, while actively supporting the Parkinson’s UK community
I took on the Walkies for Parkinson’s challenge, walking 60 miles and raising over £1,000 for Parkinson’s UK.
I thrive on challenges and enjoy staying active and engaged.
